Kate Tuepah

Grade 3 teacher

After frequently supplying and tutoring at the school during the 2010-2011 school year, Kate Tuepah is excited to be joining the King’s Town School community as the Third Grade teacher. Having completed the Concurrent Education Program at Queen’s University  in 2009 with Bachelor of Arts and  Bachelor of Education degrees, Kate went on to teach French and Grades One and Two at Maplecrest-Sempar School.

As an educator, Kate strives to create a safe and inclusive atmosphere in the classroom where each child is free to explore their individuality while learning to understand, accept, and celebrate the differences of others. She also provides an enriching educational experience through the use of technology in the classroom. Kate has a deep passion for extracurricular activities and, having coached many athletic teams in the past, is eager to become part of many of the clubs and teams available at KTS.

As a native of Kingston, Kate enjoys exploring the city’s historic sites and buildings equally as much as exploring the surrounding area through hiking and Geocaching.
