Welcome to King’s Town Montessori. We are the Montessori school situated in downtown Kingston and offer the preschool education program for King’s Town School. King’s Town Montessori is founded on the philosophy and principles of the Montessori method of education.

The Montessori classroom is a bright, spacious and welcoming area with child-sized furniture and Montessori materials.

Our children have access to a safe and secure fenced in outside play area.  We are within close proximity to The Frontenac Public Library, Springer Market Square and The Boiler Room Climbing Gym.

As well as our own Montessori playground, the children frequent the city park down the road, which has tennis courts, a large play structure and a nice green space for running and playing.

The school is open from 7:30am – 5:30pm daily. We are closed over the Winter Holiday in December through January for approximately two weeks and again for two weeks over the March Break. We observe all statutory holidays throughout the year.

We accept children who are 2.5 and toilet trained through until they are six and ready for grade one.   All students and families must go through an interview process before acceptance into our school.  Accepted students are required to comply with the uniform policy of the school.
