The before and after school program at KTS begins at 7:30 am for those families who need care prior to the start of the school day.  All classes end for the day at 3:30 pm.  Children are expected to be picked up by 3:40 pm at the latest.  Any child not picked up by this time will be cared for in the after school program which runs until 5:30 pm.  If you are going to be late, please call the school to inform us.  We do our best to retrieve all phone calls, but if the message is not received, then your child will be automatically placed in after school care until your arrival.

If you are later than 5:30 pm picking up your child, you will be billed an additional $10.00 for every ten minutes that you are late.  All regular fees, and any late fees, are billed to parents at the end of each month. The late arrival fee is paid directly to the after school care giver.

A healthy snack is provided by KTS to the students in the after school care program.  The snack is by no means a meal, and if your child is particularly hungry at this time of day, we encourage you to send additional snacks for your child.  We do not provide snacks for children who are staying at school to participate in clubs.

The after school care program is located in the school kitchen.  Students have access to our outdoor side yard and will be able to play outside, weather permitting.  We also have cards, board games and various craft materials available.  Please come to the North Yard playground entrance to pick up your child in the After School Program.  Please contact the school for current rates.  Parents are billed regardless of the length of time that their child is in our care.
