Grade 1 and Grade 2 have successfully hatched 10 chicks this week!

Having carefully cared for the eggs in their incubator for the last 21 days, Grade 1 and Grade 2 students finally met all their young chicks. Names for them are still being discussed but popular choices at the moment are Sheldon and Shelby. The chicks have now been moved to a warm area, where they have easy access to food and water. The children all look forward to the afternoons where they get to have “Chick time” and the baby chickens are allowed to have a little run around and play with the children.
